Your Relaxing Stay in Nature

Tucked into the quiet hills of Porto Carvalhoso, Casa Catarina is a gentle pause from the noise of city life. Think golden sunsets, birdsong in the morning, and trails that lead you through olive groves and wildflowers. It’s a place where you can move slow, breathe deep, and maybe remember what stillness feels like.

Guests love the fully fenced garden (perfect for little ones or four-legged companions), the nearby river, and that sense of having the whole sky to yourself.

The beaches of Fuseta and Barril are just over 25 minutes away, with Cavacos even closer. You’ll find a small village shop 8 minutes down the road, and bigger supermarkets about 15 minutes away if you're stocking up.

There’s no phone reception out here, and honestly, that’s part of the charm,
but we do provide a landline and strong Wi-Fi, so you can stay connected when you choose to.
