We booked Casa Catarina last minute and had a wonderful holiday. Landlord responds quickly and provides good information. The house is beautifully situated in the hills, we enjoyed the view every day. The kitchen is complete and well equipped. And although it was almost 40 degrees outside during the day, the air conditioning worked well; Slept well at night in a pleasant temperature.

We had 7 wonderful weeks at Casa Catarina with our dog. A cozy house with everything you need! The pellet stove heats the house well. The garden is beautiful and we spent a lot of time in front of the house. You can take many beautiful walks from the house. Guida the manager receives you and is there for all your questions. Perfect house.

The house and garden are superb, the location is also very pretty. There is a nice pool and outdoor dining. The house is well equipped and the host was charming via message. We had a very nice stay in the eastern Algarve. The access road is a little chaotic, but nothing insurmountable (be careful though if your car is low).

This was ‘heaven’. An exquisite cottage that had all the amenities. It was remote, so away from bars and entertainment, but that was what we wanted. Access is from two directions: we used the slightly longer but probably easier one, noting that both require some driving on quite reasonable dirt roads - and other traffic is virtually non-existent!
We were met at a pre-arranged location and guided in by Guida. On arrival she comprehensively outlined the features of the place. We had been advised before arriving that we would need fresh drinking water and had brought that with us. All in all, a great experience if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful rural setting. The cottage is set in a well maintained garden: both the internal and external design features are outstanding. It all fitted together harmoniously.

Casa Catarina was the perfect place to stay - amazing hills all around - very peaceful - with a great garden, and still near towns / beaches / restaurants if you drive. The house was really well equipped, we had everything we needed including amazing views from the plunge pool and grapes and oranges from the garden. Thank you, we’d love to come back!
